Rochel Papillion 11.11.2012 | I just had a phone convo with the man, and Its basically a guy trying to cash in on the "EDM" thing. Hes mostly looking for people to promote the event at an upscale type club and need promoters to get people to the event. EDIT:want to post the location for it. http://purplerainatl.com/ |
Rochel Papillion 05.11.2012 | oh, i ve signed up to a few of those entertainment services, just haven gotten lucky i guess, but thanks for the tip. |
Yuko Armacost 06.11.2012 | Go to your Facebook events calendar. https://www.facebook.com/events/calendar Find the events there that are parties and other events where DJs services are needed. Mark that you're attending even if you don't plan to, though you should go to as many as you can at the very least just to network, and pay attention to the updates. If anyone in the comments mentions a DJ ditching jump on that to offer your services. |

Marni Hirji 04.11.2012 | I saw a lot like that from craigslist. I believe it is okay to place ads there for gigs as well as a personal blog perhaps. |
Alla Bluemke 04.11.2012 | I've gotten a number of good gigs from CL you just have to be smart about what you choose to take on. |
Rochel Papillion 04.11.2012 | I know of places to try but it seems like you have to have more than just being good or decent at djing. Ill contact them and see what they say |

Yuko Armacost 04.11.2012 | I've attempted to contact a few Clist gigs here in Chicago. Two out of three have turned out to be total scams. Asking me if I could help fund the party and provide my credit card info. LOL. One worked out well but was busted shortly after I finished my set. Never got paid. I am just sticking to the radio and parties with the Burners. |
