Got a weird mail from Afton bookings
Got a weird mail from Afton bookings Posted on: 18.11.2012 by Luciano Hyppolite So, today I was checking my email and received the following. My name is Amy Cordy, and I work for MyAfton, booking shows in the Cleveland area. I've been with the company for over 4 years. Currently, I am putting together shows at Grog Shop, Vortex, and Frat House. My next open date is Jan 13th. I work with pretty much every genre, just depends on the evening . I get dates each month so I'm sure we can find something that would fit well for you. Is this be best email to reach you at for booking? It was listed on your page, but let me know if there's a better address? Reply back to let me know if you might ever be interested in booking, and we can go from there, ok? Virgie Igler 19.11.2012 | I got an email from these guys last week. I replied asking for more info, but after looking at their page n stuff, it's definitely a pay to play scam. |

Adrian Zadrozny 19.11.2012 | I get random emails from these "Afton" guys all the time. It seems like a scam. |

Rachael Tureson 18.11.2012 | have you googled their name to see if they're legit? i've gotten bookings out of the blue from soundcloud that didn't seem legit at first, but w some back and forth emailing, everything worked out ok! that being said, be cautious of course. and if you dont live in the us, of course they should pay your way. hope someone here has dealt w them before best of luck! |
