Caribbean DJ or Producers?
Caribbean DJ or Producers? Posted on: 02.12.2012 by Sydney Lashway Hey all, Hope everybody is doing well and the tunes are good. I'd like to pose a question to those it may apply to... I've recently moved to Barbados, by way of Toronto (Canada REPPIN!!!!). From my anecdotal observations (bars, clubs, more bars and even more clubs) the Electronic music, be it house, dubstep, techno etc. scene is not very strong here. Don't get me wrong the big tunes, and I mean the BIG tunes (ie. levels, titanium and so on) are played but there's no "scene." I'm curious if there are any EDM DJs in the Caribbean that spin, or produce electronic music and what types of barriers you've encountered on your journey. Thanks, Chev | |
