Making my Remix Packs available to DJTT
Making my Remix Packs available to DJTT Posted on: 06.12.2012 by Libbie Orion To get to the download right quick, go to a link farther in this thread herehttp://community .djranking s.com/showthr...l=1#post560940 but then it would be nice if you can back to this point and read the topic all the way through so you know what its all about. I have been producing music publicaly since about 2000. have worked with Clearchannel Radio stations (4 of them) worked with MTV, MTVuk, and plenty of djs in the areas i have lived as well as over the internet to produce drops, samples and basically "audio beds" they needed for various projects. Now that i am a member here at DJTT, i would REALLY love to do something for the community. I see there are already plenty of really good designers for Midi Maps so i wanted to see if i can "get in where i can fit in" and in my case, with my background, that would be in creating Remix Packs for the F1 controller. I have tons.... by tons i mean more than 30,000 audio samples of loops drum kits vocal samples (always getting more of them) hi hats ambient sounds sirens dialog i mean you name it, and i probably have it. Id like to start creating packs grouped into specific genres of music if that would help keep them organized. So i present this information to the admins, and owners of DJTT. Lets kick it around a bit and i hope its something that can work out for you guys. At this point, im ready to go. If you send me an email toevening ..... i can send you back a remix pack toevening to check out for yourselves. Since i am STILL doing studio work, i always have new sound samples, edits, and sweeps being created for more use each day i am in the studio so, having a good quantity of content, is NOT going to be a problem. Thanks DJTT for all you are doing for the Dj community Now..... its time we give something back to you guys. (Later on ill also see about creating remix packs for the MF3d as well but lets keep things simple for now) | |

Rey Holubar 19.12.2012 | Oh, that would be too cool. A remix deck store, but where free and paid decks are available.....do it, do it. do it! scamo |
Libbie Orion 19.12.2012 | very glad to get that information my DJTT friends. In light of it, ill continue creating the packs i already have in the works, and when you guys are ready..... there will be some special ones for DJTT store. Hope everyone else is glad to see this as well.... and a merry Christmas / happy holidays to everyone while im at it |
Jodi Lacerra 19.12.2012 | @antifmradio I just wanted to let you know that DJTT is aware of this thread and your proposal and Mad Zach should be getting in contact with you soon. To give you a brief overview, we are very interested in working with you in the future but are not set up ideally for selling remix packs currently but are working towards making that possible and hopefully somewhat soon. |
Libbie Orion 14.12.2012 | not rude at all infact i am taking it all as insightful information. Its important to me that i produce something that worth the time to put into it, just as much as its worth for you guys to use it. |
Ada Matzkin 14.12.2012 | yah i hope i didnt come off rude, as i said a price is fair to ask for hard work.I am still very interested in this thread. |
Libbie Orion 13.12.2012 | @ Deejaesnafu Sorry my man. Dont get me wrong. I should have gone into further detail about that price thing. Basically the only ones i would drop a price tag on would be the ones that went back into production to beef them up even more with some full scale track samples, enough samples to fill both remix decks, and everything not only set as a loop but also id provid the ONE SHOT samples to creat the loops if you wanted to recreate them a different way. Hope that clears it up. Please dont believe im trying to bait anyone on this. Completely not my intention. @ NoizeuNit thanks for the comment Also i hear your request and, do be certain that i will oblige. |
Kasandra Kreindler 13.12.2012 | if they were around the 5.50 price and it was all four pages and were top shelf quality i could see myself pay that, as i have spent many hours building my own from scratch it can take quite a bit of trial and error and also alot of effort to get a intuitive polished useful remix set if i could make a request a minimal techno, tech house organic techno remix set would be boss |
Ada Matzkin 13.12.2012 | i understand you put alot of work into these and asking a fee is fair for hard work imho, however when you came in here talking about giving back to the community "mad zach style" etc(whom obviously gets compensated by other means for his freebies to us) i was like "wow heres a cool mofo with industry rep, you dont see that very often" then when you baited us and popped the pitch about selling some of them, it left a sour taste in my mouth. just giving some honest first impression feedback here. a better approach might have been" if you like these ones im giving away , check out some of the insanely reasonably priced ones in my shop." |
Libbie Orion 12.12.2012 | Ok guys. i just created a new Trance Sound Pack check it here http://community .djranking s.com/showthr...l=1#post562758 |
Libbie Orion 12.12.2012 | Ok i do have to ask this question to everyone because i want to be FAIR. I want to put a small price on the remixpacks. not because itll make bucks... lets be honest fair price to a producer = high fair price to a consumer = MUCH LOWER im going to create quite a number of packs but most of them will be for free. Its the ones that i REALLY dump a ton of time and hard work into to fully customize, which ill tag a price onto so what would you say is a fair price? Keep in mind.... im also believeing like a $5.50 payable via paypal price here. It can take HOURS to get a good one put together |
Libbie Orion 09.12.2012 | anyone test this out scratching yet? or at least to layer an A Capella over? |
Valeri Millstein 09.12.2012 | So far great idea, it is something that could really take off. I'll keep checking back and as soon as I see a pack in a genre I play I will defiantly pick it up. Tech? Electro? Progressive? |
Libbie Orion 09.12.2012 | Thanks guys do me a favor and see if you can link this thread out to a few ppl you know. Id like to get further discussion on it |

Libbie Orion 07.12.2012 | Here it comes djs This one is as follows. Please make sure to read the info. Its important you do or youll download something you dont want to use. Hell..... download it anyway, even if you DONT play hip hop. These are my re-created versions of popular hip hop songs from the 90s. These are the most famous parts of the songs, recreated and looped so you can use them with other vocals on them or just layer them with other beats in a free for all mashup when you want to hit a crowd with a nostalgic few moments in the evening . Have fun. The next pack i create is going to have not only the looped samples but also on shots, and short loops so you can really layer each song into a full mix session Including: Charly B Horse and Carriage Ride Ice Cube The Beatnuts Shaq Tatiana Childrens Story MNM Salt and Peppa and more. Package includes A) Hip Hop Box 1 .TRAK file B) How to Import Remix Sets.pdf C) a weblink D) a little text file from myself to you guys. I put the ZIPPED and UNZIPPED sizes in the description so you know you downloaded the whole thing. Genre - HIP HOP / R&B Size - 42.5MB unzipped (31.2 Zipped ) # of files - 2 pages at 16 files each ( equals 32 files ) Style - Looped samples Vocals - NONE Download link- www.antifmradio.com/uploads/Hip-Hop-box-1.zip |

Dick Korus 07.12.2012 | Thanks for what you're doing man. Its really cool having people that have lots of experience contribute like this! Peace from Cali! |
Libbie Orion 07.12.2012 | lol dont put it past me RAD i have a wifey here and shes great on a MIC so i can even come up with a custom sample "The R-r-r-r-Rad... mixin and booty twitchin" in her voice. nice clean, unfiltered, compressed, phat sound lol @dubyou.. yes i am putting something together to post for tomorrow evening I want it to be a full compliment. still working on the organization part of it Ill post here of course |
Alfredia Hano 06.12.2012 | Perhaps, C-Ue Beats c-e-u beats just hurts my eyes to look at. (Maybe it's just me) I'd love a throwback pack for some old school hip hop. (just can't get enough lately) Have a few scratches we could crab "mad zach style" and possibly a cheesy phrase chopped up we could use as one shots. "Body rock, Ass twirk, Everybody go berserk!" kinda thing. |
Dick Korus 06.12.2012 | If you post a set that you have made and asked for community feedback, it might go a long way and help you out a lot |
Libbie Orion 06.12.2012 | well then while i wait to hear something from DJTT, how about this thread be a small discussion of what should be included in a pack? Originally i wanted to create the packs using ONLY loop samples but as i watch more and more of the videos created by you guys, i see there are also Stabs, On Shots, and basically..... any kind of audio sample Gimmie a heads up while i work on a first official one to release here. Because im wanting to organize them by basic GENRE of music as a pack but the packs obviously would have enough samples in them to fill either 1 or 2 pages in a remix deck so that would be anywhere from 16 to 32 samples each pack. Also each column from left to right would be Drums Perc's Hats / Fills Efx (sound effects) depending on the extra files i toss into the pack or genre this is produced for, a column of sound would change to replace say the EFX with Vocal samples or in the case of DUBSTEP, hi hats would be replaced by two columns of effects, and sweeps i mean the combination is really quite endless. I dont want to go too BALLS-OUT on setting up the packs in a way that you should only use the samples in that pack as a group. Id really like to organize it in a way that you can import the samples to ableton and really put something SWEET together or even move the samples around inside traktor by setting them into a PREPARATION LIST so you can in turn, create your own sample remix pack (obviously using the samples i have provided) Im believeing of calling the whole thing "C-e-u-Beats" pronounced "Que Beats" but read as See-You-beats because in the end, im just providing an onslaught of sounds, grouped together meanwhile its YOU guys who create the final beat, hence the See YOU Beat PS incase anyone asks, yes i know Ceu beats is spelled wrong but there is someone using that name in the correct spelling. He is just a teenager and an unoffical producer but still, he is putting work in under his name and im not gong to cause a stirr. |
Alfredia Hano 06.12.2012 | I hope DJTT jumps on this. I'm excited for this already If they don't take you up on this I'd love to keep in touch! |
Libbie Orion 06.12.2012 | lol @ Rad id really like to see if i can release them on a scale like Mad Zack does for DJTT, this way EVERYONE would have simultaneous access hahahhaa |
Alfredia Hano 06.12.2012 | If you'd like feel free to send some this way too. |
