Using KRK Rokit 8's for house parties? Posted on: 26.12.2012 by Jc Laky Hey all I'm looking to upgrade my speakers and I'm looking at the KRK rokit 8 and the Yamaha MSR 100/250. I'm just wondering with just one KRK rokit would I be able to rock a house party? How would the bass response be? The main problem with my current speakers (Numark NMP5) is that they are 20W and have weak bass, would 90W be a big difference or should I go with something like the MSR 100's 100W or 250's 250W? | |

Rena Estabrook 27.12.2012 | My buddy threw parties in his nice size studio apartment with two Rokit 8s. I don't believe one will cut it. |

Latoria Kavulich 26.12.2012 | dozen people in a small lounge max |
Jc Laky 26.12.2012 | @photojojo in which case would you recommend going with the yamaha make then? |
Jc Laky 26.12.2012 | could you ballpark a number? 50-100? |
Leeanna Ayla 26.12.2012 | Really depends on the number of people. The more people, the more sound gets blocked and absorbed by said people. It would have to be a petty small party for on KRK 8 to do the job well. |
