Reply to Opinions on this for a sound set-up

This set-up would probably be used for house parties and the likes.

Two of these: On sale 41% off from 609$ now at 359$

Roughly 1000$, wouldn't wanna spend anymore than this.

Any suggestions? My buddy who knows a good deal about audio put this together for me, but I thought I'd get a second opinion over here before committing to anything.
