Reply to Sound Card question

Hello, so I am looking at getting a new sound card that can handle a 4 deck setup with an external mixer. I am having trouble finding a good deal on a Native Instruments brand card, but what I really want is an Akai EIE, since it will be great for my recording situation as well as dj setup because it has extra usb ports. So my main question I really need answered is will the EIE work with Traktor. I have heard conflicting things and i need a definitive answer before I drop the dough, please advise thanks!
