KW181 - Fit in car?
KW181 - Fit in car? Posted on: 06.02.2013 by Albertina Fay Any KW181 owners out there??I am buying a set of k12's and a KW181 tomorrow. (YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!) However, I am not able to get a hold of someone with a van or pickup and wanted to know if the sub would fit in my car. I own a 2003 Acura TL Type S. I highly doubt it would fit in the car while it's boxed, but I am hoping it fits without the box. (Front Seat, Rear Seat, Trunk??). I don't want to waste a trip because it did not fit in the car. Can anyone help me? | |

I am going to be testing them on Saturday at a park for my cousin's bridal shower/party. It's totally overkill, but it is perfect to test and see how they perform outdoors. You told me you were going to start doing some mobile gigs.... How is that going?

Takako Pansegrau 26.11.2013 | I'm believeing of getting the same set up (KW-181) and wondering if it will fit in my old Honda Accord Sedan... Please post pics! |
Klara Kinnebrew 08.02.2013 | Definatly need pics. This is the exact setup im looking to buy here within the next few weeks. let us know how you like everything! |
Albertina Fay 07.02.2013 | Update: So I finally picked up the speakers. I was able to fit the KW181 in my back seat with no problem. However, I needed take it out of the box. (Box was flattened and fit in the back seat as well. I was able to fit one K12 on the other half of my back seat, with the box. the other went in my trunk, also in the box. I also bought the tote bags as well for the k12's. Now I need to get myself the cover the the KW181. (He didn't have any in stock.) I'm one happy camper!!!!!!!! I'll take some pictures on Saturday when I load them up in my car again. Stay tuned... |

Julissa Serrone 08.02.2013 | yo....did it fit??? I had thought about investing in a mini sub (EV) to go with my tops, figured that would the only sub that would fit in a 2 door car. If you could get that to fit, that would be impressive man. So are you doing some mobile gigs now? |
Albertina Fay 07.02.2013 | will do! I am surprised I was not able to find a picture anywhere on the interwebz |
Wilma Quinty 07.02.2013 | Post pictures if you do manage to fit it in your car! |

Harley Zitka 06.02.2013 | Find the measurements of the sub, then get a box the same size (or just a measuring tape) to see if it will fit. Most likely, your best bet will be the front seat. I have an EV Live X 18" sub, and it just BARELY fits in the front seat of my Honda Civic Coupe... but it fits. |
