Reply to Best way to fix a stiff pitch fader

Picked up a cheap VCI 100 today and am impressed by the build quality! But the left pitch fader is quite stiff..

What's the best way to get it running smoothly again? I only have GT85 at the moment but since so many warn against using WD40 I figured it wasn't the best idea.
