A Beginner Looking for Help
A Beginner Looking for Help Posted on: 18.03.2013 by Arden Derenthal Hey DJTT, Me and my friend have been wanting to begin producing music for quite some time now (about 1.5 years). But we have no idea where to start or what we will need. I have basic knowledge controllers, but other than that, I am lost. So what will be required? Also, What software would you suggest using? Any recommendations and tips would be appreciated! Thanks in advance, -Kam | |

Danuta Keyton 18.03.2013 | I sometimes use a basic midi keyboard with garageband which can be fun sometimes. Garageband's built-in synths aren't terrible |
Delfina Suedmeyer 18.03.2013 | i would recommend to download demo before purchase to see if its what you really want. or if you have a mac, use garageband. there are also other options too. ableton, imo is really easy and versatile. i havent used logic yet but thats also a daw software. also i would also recommend doing research into maschine/massive. if you are familiar with native instrument interface then you can familarize yourself with that. |
Arden Derenthal 18.03.2013 | Thanks SlvrDragon50, and i have been messing around trying to figure out ableton lately, so that's a start! |
Gaynell Rydberg 18.03.2013 | Ableton for music production. Pick up a midi keyboard or an analog synth and you're set. |
