Hey DJTT

I have been wanting to get into mixing/producing for about two years now and i have finally decided do it after i finally got to try it out at a friend of a friends house .

My predicament is that i have no idea where to start with buying gear or software. I have a pair of monitors already that my friend lent me until i get my own.

But in term of controllers and the rest of the gear i don't know where to start.

My budget atm is sadly $700. (all i have got atm :/)
