Reply to Traktor: Key detection of songs on an external drive?

I notice key detection works wonderfully on the tracks that are on my hard drive...but I keep most of my tracks on an external drive (DJ'ing from my computer room), and it doesn't seem to want to detect the key on those particular songs. Am I doing something incorrectly??
