Get rid of my TTM56 for a Z2?
Posted on: 21.05.2013 by Albertina Fay
So right now, I have a Rane TTM56 and Audio 8 and X1 that I use for my DVS system. I am considering buying a Z2 and getting rid of the TTM56 to simplify the setup. (Won't need to connect Audio 8 or X1. Less wires and less clutter.)

I like the fact that it has the cuepoints and remix slots available right on the mixer.

I know the Rane 56 is way better built quality wise and their customer support is second-to-none, based on my experience with them.

Now the questions is, am I dumb for wanting to do this, or is it decent trade-off?

I eventually want to get the 900, but don't want to put out that much money right now.

I'd get the Z2, you'll enjoy a new piece of gear with flashing lights and cool buttons. A TTM-56 will always be listed at a decent price on eBay if you ever need a tested battle mixer.

Plus you still have the Audio 8 and X1 handy if you need to set up and play on a club set up somewhere.

When you get it let me know so I can check it out.
yea. it's my home setup.

i'll def be keeping the audio 8 and x1 for that exact reason.
