Will Traktor read my external on a Mac without formatting it?

If I have to format it what are my options for not loosing 500 gigs of music?

Thanks Techies!

sorry, I guess I should have tried it first. I was under the impression that I had to format it, seems to be working fine.

exFAT is compatible with both Mac OSX and Windows without the need for 3rd party programs. You may need to format the drive on a Windows machine for optimal compatibility. Edit: Traktor may not read from exFAT for some reason.

Macs can also read from NTFS and can read/write to FAT drives so if your hard drive was originally formatted for Windows use it should read fine on the Mac.
