Looks like an update of Kontrol X1 is coming soon. (and might make the K2 obsolete with a bit of mapping)

Wuld be nice.. Would love to see new mixers start getting a dedicated midi display and encoder knob per channel too..

Even though I'd like to see a X1 MK2 I am not sure RGB coloring would do much more for the current X1 setup.

yep, just regular X1's in midi mode. the "off" state of the button's led brightness looks jacked up higher than normal. Either that or photoshop magic.

The only thing i see NI coming out with next is the Z4 (4 channel version of z2), and updated S2/S4's with RBG buttons for remix decks. Also for S2/S4: higher headphone output, booth volume knob on the top face, and platter "play" feedback similar to the vestax vci-380's rotating ring.

Just a regular X1. Suspect on a sudden X1 sale, that's the way NI works when they introduce an update.

Funny, i was recently pondering replacing my x1 as some of the buttons have become a less responsive after 2 years of use.. Then i suspected theyd soon update it and figured i can probly get another 6 mos use before it gets really annoying..

Wouldnt mind rgb capability for hotcues and shift layer indication..

And a small screen like f1 would be great

But other than that, i believe the layout and functions are great as is.. Not sure what they could do to change it up much..

interesting find, although nothing about it looks different other then the colour of the less. Could it be someone playing a little bit or trickery with photoshop??
