CDJ800Mk1 fault...no error code
Posted on: 17.06.2013 by Teresia Janusch
Right, I was in my studio on Friday evening practicing for a competition on Saturday, when one of my CDJ800Mk1s decided to stop working...mid track.

It then produced a clicking sound while it was trying to spin up the disc, it eventually spat the disc out, but threw up no error code. When I put the disc back in, the was a mild click and the same symptoms.

I took it apart and powered it up to see if I could spot anything, the click seems to be coming from under the main cam in the loading mech. Anyone else experienced this? Im not too good on mechanical issues, im far happier with the electronics.

Im 99% sure the laser pickup and mech are OK.
