UK NIGHTLIFE - Best place to go for 21st birthday ( BEST OVERALL CITY, MUSIC, CLUB) Posted on: 09.07.2013 by Reba Olree Its my 21st birthday on August 30th and i haven't a clue where i want to go. UK only !!! Me and the lads are believeing - Newcastle, London or Cardiff. I have never been to Cardiff or Newcastle and i have heard there both mint evening s out. Also believe about great MUSIC destinations too. I couldn't be doing with a decent evening club playing mainstream shit like example !!!! If you know any decent DJS playing around the same date would be cool too. HAHA Let me know your thoughts !!! Cheers | |

Shayne Kohtz 11.07.2013 | I doubt you'll have a problem getting into Fabric. Last time I was there we all just strolled in, setting off metal detectors on the way, with not much more than a nod from the bouncers. Shout out to the folk handing out umbrellas in the queue lol, that was a nice touch seeing as it was panning down with rain. Tbh though, I thought Fabric was heavily over-rated. It's a fairly big club, aye, but it's not that great. The main dancefloor was ridiculously packed & most people seemed to be in a bad mood. Might just be London Patch London & come to Glasgow. Sub Club. Easy.

Olin Easley 12.07.2013 | They were probably talking about NASS festival - http://www.nassfestival.com/line-up/ The best places are Motion, Thekla, Timbuk2, Blue Mountain and Lakota. They all (except for Thekla) play mostly drum n bass and house, depending on the evening . Motion usually has big line ups, you might catch a big name at one of the others, but not that often. |
Hipolito Scionti 12.07.2013 | Egg is good. Is full of geezers though but the music is solid bumpy techy house and the garden is nice It's a sausage fest tho... but you'll defo get in as group of lads. NEST is proper dope http://www.ilovethenest.com/ I'd go NEST first then when that shuts go EGG |
Reba Olree 12.07.2013 | I went to Manchester last new year and i wasn't impressed but other people told me that i went to the wrong part of the city !!!! I hit Leeds alot and enjoy it round there so that's why i wouldn't mind somewhere decent to be honest. Maybe London sounds good then from the response i have had, is there any other good clubs, bars etc around egg and is there any decent DJS around that time ?? That fabric looks good too, decisions decisions !!!! I met some lads on holiday from Bristol and the told me about a thing called NAS or something a big drum and bass event. Im not sure when it is and im not massively into my drum and bass but it would be a good experience. Whats the best places around Bristol ?? Cheers lads appreciate this |

Wynell Muma 11.07.2013 | You could wait like 2 weeks or so after until warehouse project opens in Manchester Manchester is a very good city for music too as is Liverpool! I believe it'll be harder to find the underground clubs in Newcastle though? They all seem to be into fake tan and pulling girls haha (Joking) London has the legendary fabric though, believe you'd get a buzz from that and I know Bristol have some insane evening s |

Olin Easley 10.07.2013 | Go to Bristol! As long as you're sure there's a house evening on your birthday, I guarantee you'll have a great time. |
Jacqualine Cieplik 10.07.2013 | EGG is decent. I go between 1 - 6am Near Kings Cross I have found some of the people recently a bit weird and its very chewy. |
Reba Olree 10.07.2013 | Sounds good !!! Is it a all day party or just a evening thing ?? Where abouts in London is it and have you been mate ?? Cheers |

Reba Olree 10.07.2013 | Cheers lads, im into deep, tech soft and funky house. Love new sounds and that's why London is tempting me !!! I am biggles - Cheers, yea my Dad has been telling me to hit Brighton. Calzone - LMFAO, start chewing the walls off haha !!! |
Jacqualine Cieplik 09.07.2013 | Have you used Resident Adviser? Do have a specific genre? Book before you go. Ministry Egg Fabric |
Annalisa Shogren 09.07.2013 | Don't go to Cardiff unless you want to hear mainstream. They have a good drum & bass scene, but only on certain dates. London is the one for THROBBING new music. Go there. |
Hayden Raugh 10.07.2013 | yeh what MRG12EG said.... if u say your music taste it wil be easier! |
Jeffrey Akinsanya 09.07.2013 | what music are you in to? |
Hazel Zaleski 09.07.2013 | Leeds is great, todd terry is playing the warehouse on bank holiday sunday. Distrikt is good bar too. |
Myrta Neweii 09.07.2013 | If you fly to Canada I'll throw a party for you in my basement and you can drop acid and pet my dogs. After that we can race Volkswagens. |
Dedra Kreinbring 09.07.2013 | Newcastle hit up Digital I believe. Trebles bars before are 3 trebles for |
Qiana Castellucci 09.07.2013 | Well, as long as you're not pissed and dont look like trouble you should be OK. be great if you could get some ladies in the group - even if you just tag up in the queue, makes it SO much easier. Most of the east end clubs are more relaxed than the west end/mainstream ones, so you stand a better chance of getting a good evening out. Plus the music will be WAY better the other option, of course, is my home town, Brighton. Load of clubs in a small area, pretty good range of musical styles from Funk to Hip hop, Dubstep to Deep house. OK door policies in most too. |
Reba Olree 09.07.2013 | I would say maybe about 10 of us !!!! My dad lives near dalston and its a good evening out but i have never been to the superstore. Is London renowned for not letting loads of lads in !!! We all dress smart so don't believe there would be an issue with clothing etc .... Cheers mate |
Qiana Castellucci 09.07.2013 | I was going to suggest London and some of the east end clubs like Fabric, East Village or Dalston Superstore. But largish groups of lads could have a problem getting into any of these (or most London) clubs. I guess it you group up into smaller bunches of lads it wouldn't be an issue, but then there's the possibility of some not getting in. Cant speak for the other towns, but this has always been the case with *decent* clubs in London (i.e. the non-mainstream ones) |
