upcoming gig.. a little help needed with controller

hey guys, just a quick one.. i've been using ssl for some time now, however i have a few gigs coming up that require me to bring my own gear, so for these i'm believeing of going back to traktor and picking up a used controller..

my question being, if i pick up a used vci100 can i use my sl2 in traktor to output through just one channel? and will the output be loud enough? (the sl2 will be going directly into the system / no inline mixer)

thanks in advance

FiiO make a range of portable headphone amps that seem quite popular. I haven't had any experience with them though.

thanks, i dont know what the venue has, the manager has told me that it is rca?? i'll take enough leads to get me through any situation, can you suggest a headphone amp... bear in mind its only a small bar & will be used once or twice so as cheap as possible

Yes, you should be able to use the SL2 as a Traktor sound card, and you could even precue through headphones if you have a suitable headphone amp.

Are you sure the PA system has unbalanced RCA inputs nearby though?
