Reply to what are the advantages of a digital vinyl set-up?

Hello, this is my first post on the DJ ranking s community s.

I'm believeing of upgrading my current DJ set (traktor s2) to something better suited for playing at clubs and big parties. I've seen some DJ using a digital vinyl set-up using time code kits like the Traktor scratch. What are the advantages of using a setup like this? It looks fun having a more hands-on control and being able to do classic DJ techniques like scratching.

I've seen some decent used turntables for sale, but what mixer should I get that would allow control of the digital effects in Traktor?
