Experimenting with electronic music production has turned into a change of life for producer, DJ and vocalist Polycat. POLYCAT is discussed on djrankings.org.
old- She’s been producing actively since 2005 orienting herself on emotive chillout and club use-music. Her versatile and atmospheric sound has given her many releases worldwide in various compilations and EP’s (Progressive Grooves Rec., The Sound of Everything, Highwaystar Recordings, Spliff Music, Kayowa Records).
Her successes include her top selling track “I Know Why (Polycat Spell Mix)” which was featured in Audiojelly Top 100 Downtempo/Chillout tracks for 3 months reaching #3, and her unreleased track from her upcoming debut album “I Need Your Dream" featured as Chillout Tune Of The Week in Pedro del Mar’s Mellomania radio show, introducing her to over a million listeners.
too- Her tracks received support by Dj’s including Pedro Del Mar, Row, Dito, Steve Boyett (Podrunner and Groovelectric podcasts),Adrianos Papadeas, Dj Frique, Update Project, Safi Connection to name a few, and her tracks appear in various compilations and podcasts.
Recently she released her debut chillout album “Inspired”, a simply remarkable 10 track digital album, assembling some of the most melodic and compelling new compositions that weave a tapestry of new age ,chill ,modern electronica and adult contemporary tracks into a unique sound.
As a progressive house Dj, she continues her successful career in radios, parties and events in Greece and abroad, playing along and opening for Dj’s like De Puta Madre (Brighton), Roy Malakian (Lebanon), Row (Chicago).
In 2009 her track Ask For It (Original Mix) was part of Microsoft’s promotional campaign for Windows 7.
