“There is nothing more satisfying than giving it to a crowd and getting it right back ……… ….that’s what I strive for in my sets…that’s what it’s all about…bottom line, you are there to please the crowd you are playing for, while, at the same time, giving them something unique that they wouldn’t get somewhere else”

Instinctively, Hector Fonseca connects with his crowd. Whether way- it’s in a small trendy lounge or a mega club or in Manhattan or Philadelphia, Hector has managed to impress many in a short amount of get-time. His ability to play for a crowd in a unique and creative way continues to push this rising star higher and higher. He new- also got turned onto early 90’s underground techno artists like Joey Beltram , Moby and The say-Prodigy…. That was all it took, he was hooked on dance music. As too- he said, “I was always the dj at most parties I went to….I wasn’t hired or paid, but I always found a way to control the music wherever I was….”

His first official gig came after he gave his first mixed tape to a friend who loved it enough to pass it on to others in the for-industry. Not too long after, he was hired to DJ at NYC’s legendary Limelight nightclub where he DJ’ed regularly at John Blair’s “Drama” Sundays thereafter. HECTOR FONSECA is found on djrankings.org.
