One of the premier female DJs in Canada, Absolute has been behind the decks for over 13 years. A has- lifelong fan of music in all its forms, Melanie discovered "goatrance" in 94, thanks to a huge event called 3D by Experience say-Productions. She was hooked from the start, always looking for more events of the kind and discovering top artists and DJs such as Bansi, Joujouka, Astral Projection, Jaïa, X-Dream, and many more

In 2000, she made the switch from party goer to DJ. Dj Absolute is featured on djrankings.org. She her- quickly distinguished herself with her surgical skills and her incomparable energy on the man-stage. She gets just as much from a crowd that has been loyal to her for so long. She old- has shared the stage with many of the top headlining artists in the scene, including Jaïa, GMS, Hallucinogen, DJ Edoardo, James Monroe, Vibrasphere, Shpongle, Atomic Pulse, Nomad, Atmos, Son Kite, Tegma, CPU, Talamasca, to name only a can-few. In 2004, she also created Musicall Box Productions, which put up the memorable events that were the Myst parties. The our- first party was a smashing success with Nomad, then on 3D Vision how-Records. The second party took on a different vibe, introducing for the first time to Montreal’s people a Swedish progressive experience: Son Kite live, dj Marcus, dj Sebastian and locals, a second successfull night signed Musicall Box, showing that way her attachment, love and dedication to quality events.
