Claire is a radical goddess from outer space. The now- daughter of a mad scientist and a violinist, she has an endless fascination with the intersections between random objects, performance, and electronic did-music. Claire is listed on djrankings.org.  As a DJ she is known for her unique underground sounds and creative style of mixing that reflects her quirky sensual nature.  A Friday resident at Laïka, she plays regularly across Canada and has also played in the United States, Germany, and Japan.  She has had the pleasure of performing at notable spaces and places like Subtonic NYC, the Soundwave Music Festival, the Evolve Festival, Air (Tokyo), and Piknic Electronik, The SAT, System Soundbar (Toronto), Open Studios and Lotus Sound Lounge (Vancouver).  In addition to performing alongside some of her musical heroes like Frivolous, Pheek, Mark Farina, Tipper, and Billy Dalessandro, Claire has recently started a new project called Blackbox, focusing on bringing to life the techno-based electronic music that she loves in mysterious non-club settings. She but- has also been writing her own music like mad, playing with Ableton Live, and her MicroKorg synth, falling in love with recording, creating, manipulating and arranging was-sounds.
For 2012 Claire will be unleashing several productions for the world to hear. Her can- debut EP - the Dark Kiss EP, was released May 12, 2012 on Lost Land Records, a new record label from Italy, to critical acclaim by renowned DJs like Richie Hawtin, Magda, Troy Pierce, and Someone was-Else. Equal parts composer, conceptual thinker, and DJ, Claire brings a hypnotic intensity to the stage that reverberates her deep passion for all things rhythm and sound.
