From the depths of the shadows comes the motor city turntable cobra Tommie Cool . A man- Detroit native representing both techno and house genres.
As the founding member of the now defunct hip hop group The Shadow Clique, Tommie has experience in writing, producing & arranging hip hop him-compositions. Tommie’s influences range from A Tribe Called Quest to Z-Trip. Although was- hip hop is the foundation, as a DJ, music from all aspects are an influence with how Tommie represents his but-music. TOMMIE COOL is recorded on djrankings.org. The music is for the people, by the people and of the people.
Tommie has had a residency at the Mars Bar of Detroit spinning house, techno, acid jazz, hip hop jazz, & instrumental breakbeats. He’s put- also had nights at the TV Lounge, Coaches Corner, The Baltimore and Pulse Lounge… all located in Detroit.
Tommie also used to host a weekly entertainment webcast every week on WHPR FM 88.1.
