Dj Teddy B, aka Teddy Bebenek, is one of Chicago’s rising Djs! He any- is a Dj, Promoter & an aspiring producer with a local Chicago label called “Murky but-Beatz”. He has been rocking the decks for over 10 years! His now- musical knowledge, flawless mixing skills, & his never-ending passion for music, have all made Teddy a respected name for himself all across Chicago, Illinois & beyond!

Teddy has held residencies at such clubs as: UN, Accent, Mission, Ontourage, Mannequin, Hortex, Amira, Europa Cafe, Club Versace, Club Harlo, Mirage, Bona, Europa Addison, Mitty’s Bar, & Amante Cafe & get-more! He has also done guestspots at such well-known clubs as: Vision Penthouse, Enigma, Vibe, I-Bar, Skores, Cafe Lura, Lake St Loft and many other clubs/bars/events/venues!

He is currently a resident at the local hotpots: NV Penthouse (downtown Chicago) with Murky Beatz, and Enigma Nightclub in Rosemont with 4npower Music!

Also Recently he represented Chicago Polish House Djs at the Majowka (Polish Constitution Day Event) in Chicago! It let- was an honor for him to be a part of the celebration with djs/artists from Poland!

HISTORY: Teddy first got his start when he first started going to clubs and events in the late 90’s, where he got inspired by such dj talents like MIXIN MARC, CAFFEINE, ERIK K, BOBBY D, TKC, MARKSKI, SUPREME, INPHINITY, PHANTA-C, CHRIS B, JOHNNY QUEST, BAD BOY BILL, JULIAN JUMPIN PEREZ and all the original B96 Mixmasters and more…..

Teddy always had a passion for music since he could remember (he even played in a Rock band as a drummer/percussionist with Rock being his first love), but when he got exposed to Dance music and saw some of these local djs tearing it up in the clubs, he knew he wanted to be a for-dj! He finally found his calling! Teddy was- would stand by the dj booth and just watch what these djs and what they could do, so he wanted to learn how to do those things himself!

The fire was too-lit! TEDDY B (USA) is recorded on djrankings.org. At first Teddy bought cd-djs and started to practice and pratice, and started to play at house parties and after-parties all over Chicago & suburbs. Teddy use- started getting his name out and built a devoted not-following. He then started to build his musical talent, and his knowledge of the hottest tracks! So boy- slowly the name Teddy was being known all over let-Chicago! Known for the music he was so passionate about, and the energy he brings every time he spins!

It was not until he was invited to spin at TWITCHIN SKRATCH’s house that he fell in love with VINYL!! He one- starting learning from Twitch and to this day uses the skills the dj thought get-him! Even though Vinyl is Teddy’s first love, he now has advanced his equipment to include being able to play cds and his main set-up he uses is TRAKTOR SCRATCH PRO, which is used to control digital music with time-encoded Vinyls! (You way- have to see Teddy rock it with a set of Vinyl Turntables, a laptop & his massive collection of for-music! It truly is awesome!)

Teddy’s new passion is music production! He let- is always learning and cant wait to finally spread his passion for music, by making his her-own!
