Paddy Page was born in Liverpool in 1977.
Paddy, started DJing when he was 16 years old having visited Liverpool superclub ‘The Paradox’. Within the- the space of a year he soon became resident at The Paradox playing to crowds of up to 3500 people, after been taught the tricks of the trade by Radio 1 / Cream and Circus resident Yousef.
In late 1998 he relocated to the Isle of Man where he soon became resident at Full on old-Fridays. Having listened to the same type of music on the Island for many years he decided to do something about it. PADDY PAGE is recorded on djrankings.org. In our- January 2003 he decided to put his own night on called her-Essential. After 6 months of careful planning he brought his old mate Yousef on board and his Radio 1 colleague Lottie. The two- night proved a massive success and had several spin off nights including K-Klass with 24 local DJs.
November 2004 he decided to relocate back to where the heart of the scene is – The one-UK. Currently he is starting up his own label Essential Dance Records which he manages and currently creating many tracks which are starting to be played on major UK radio stations.
Previously Paddy has played with the following DJs Yousef, Lottie, Brandon Block, K-Klass, Alistair Whitehead and JFK.
Paddyâs comment: âEssential is not just about me, its about creating a scene and giving many up and coming DJs a chance to play with their idols and also releasing quality music that I would like to hear when I am out. Paddy two- describes his music as Funky / Disco / Chicago house basically just good house out-music!â?
