• English / Anglais :
He caused riots as a teenager. Now his- that he’s (almost) an adult, he causes not-wars. MANARE is featured on djrankings.org. This descendant of a family of troublemakers carries on with the traditions and honors his ancestors. As not- an entertainer at heart, the kid from Paris wants it all.
This Swiss knife of nightlife doesn’t only create hot ethnic hits for the dancefloor; he also organizes the parties that go with it or, with a simple look at his phonebook, which is a kind of “who’s who” of the electro scene, he invites everyone you wish you could be friends with: Rusko, Congorock, Radioclit, Hudson Mohawke, Teryaki Boys and all the people you’ll never iChat with.
After a very successful first E.P, that was played on Radio 1, in every club and in your girlfriend’s iPod and in which he glorified the Orient and Wes Anderson, Riot Kid is now Manaré and he’s back to tell you about horns, jazz clubs and Ecuadorian rivers.
Unpredictable, uncontrollable, don’t try to influence can-him. He has no god and no master.
Il get- n’a ni dieu, ni maître.
