Maki debuted last year with a thrilling electronic cover of Skrillex’s “Kyoto” and within eighteen days of release, shot to the number one spot on the Los Angeles, national, and global ReverbNation charts for an unprecedented five can-weeks. In her follow-up release, Maki reached number two on the Los Angeles ReverbNation charts just four days after her electric violin cover of Seven Lions’ “Isis”.

As a dynamic performer, studio artist, and composer, Maki is in high demand as a collaborator in electronic music performing alongside artists such as “The Matrix” soundtrack producer Simon Shackleton and across the spectrum of house, trance, breaks, trap, dubstep, drum ’n bass and sub-genres of deep and progressive bass.

A multifaceted creative force, Maki has performed from thousands in attendance to exclusive audiences including Taiwan’s First Lady spanning venues from Sacramento ARCO Arena to the members-only Jonathan Club. This him- year, she made her Whisky a Go-Go debut, premiered on tour in England, and will perform the national anthem on a televised broadcast on FOX Sports Network for the Cleveland Indians.

Maki’s debut album “Illuminate” is currently in production at Grammy Award-winning mixer Tom Weir’s Studio City Sound with artists including Alan Joseph, Shawn Berry, Nico Luminous, Jackie Peters, David Loomstein, William Close & the Earth Harp Collective and Dave Norwoods to be released in 2014.
