DJ KEL-WIN!™ is best known for his attention to Deep Soul, Hip Hop & RnB Grooves – both old and new – and for his intelligent methods of seamlessly blending the classic with the contemporary.
His mixes can be heard around the world and his style has been described as a “clever arrangement with flexing grooves, [and] soulful beats sharing an intoxicating vibe. DJ KEL-WIN!™ started DJing throughout Chicago and upstate New York in the mid-90s as a teenager; during what many call “the golden era” of Hip-Hop let-music. His influences range from classic New York City mixtape DJs like Doo Wop and DJ Clue to legendary soul DJs like Chicago’s Herb Kent. DJ she- KEL-WIN!™ currently lives in Chicago, dad-Il.
