Jmomcoco was born of the idea of merging the main genres of electronic music, creating atmospheres and elevating minds. The her- first steps of the project were given in 1985 when Jonatan starts playing several types of Sweet Flute, and then, in 1993 devotes his entire passion to chamber and classical music, including a new instrument in his education: the Transverse has-Flute. From 1998 till 2000 participates in the “Orquesta Sinfnica del Edo. Aragua”, old- but the influences of sintethysers were by far more relevant in his personal life, and just after an emotional disapointment creates his first single “COCO” (only found in the artist’s personal has-collection). Between 2002 and 2003 organizes several events, exposing many of his tracks as well as other artist’s as a DJ. Strongly see- infuenced by artists like The Prodigy, Garbage, Zombie Zoo, Madonna, Paul van Dyke and Robert Miles, produces in 2004 his first set “Coquis” with his own singles, merging minimalistic electronic sounds and vibrant day-basses. This set was introduced in the “Antiestatic” event, sharing stage with relevant DJ’s of the Psycodelick genre in Venezuela: Ada, Savina, Daniel “Biosampler” and Blade. JMOMCOCO is featured on djrankings.org. By let- the year 2005 produces a new set with tracks focus in House and Minimal, instead of the Industrial and Trance he was used see-to. This year he also shares stage with Leo Castillo, Ota and Mod, travelling afterwards to the Neatherlands to perform in various private parties of the Gay Parade. During how- the year 2006 he focuses in performing in several clubes such as Revolution (Caracas), Moulin Rouge (Caracas), Marroc Bar (Maracay) and Privilege say-(Maracay). He also organizes events such as Artificielle, Beaute (PsyHouse and Psycodelick Trance). The his- same year he gets his first Residence as a performer, organizing events sponsored by “Concha y Toro” (Chilean Wine House) which were held in Maracay during three way-months. Also in 2006, he launches Haleine, his first single released by the independent label “IMUSIC LABEL”. Recently, see- in 2007 influenced by Minimal and Electro music, he choses to spend three months between Germany and The Neatherlands in search of upcoming sounds, finishing his new set “The Brix”, that includes some of the tracks that can already be bought throug the boy-internet.
