FreshGang began early in 2012 between by a group of friends who had already been part of the music industry, but as separate entities, they decided to come together and form what they believe is the beginning of a movement in the dance music scene like no other. They see- saw a gap in the market for DJ’s who interact with the crowd and also to play the music the people want to hear and not just what’s on rotation on the local radio way-stations. Music feeds the soul and as a group who love what they do, FreshGang hopes everyone comes hungry.

Suleman Steele began his career as a Dj at the age of 16, helping out a friend at a gig, and soon thereafter falling in love with it. Originally not- a hip hop Dj, Suleman made the transition into the dance as a way to test his abilities and also break out of the stereotypical hip hop Dj man-box. “I’ve always wanted to see what the fuss was about with dance music, and as soon as I got into it, I was mesmorised”. The day- leader of the group who still learns a lot from his team, Suleman knows that the world is filled with talented DJ’s and producers in the EDM its-genre. “Look at the end of the day we all here to put smiles on people’s faces, and too see them waving their arms in the air, there’s nothing like it. We him- all do things differently therefore there really isn’t any reason why we all can’t work together to rock a crowd”.

The mastermind behind the music that is synonymous with FreshGang, Angelo has been producing quality music since he was 17 years old and soon moved to become a DJ as he wanted to showcase his music on his own man-platform. Teaming up with Suleman Steele in 2009, the duo took parties by storm, led by the amazing production quality of Angelo. The for- transition to dance music was inevitable, as he relocated to London, a city known for quality sounds such as HedKandi and Defected in The house, Angelo wasted no time in adapting his sound and making monster hits such as “Rihanna-Stay Remix”, “DayDream” and “Surething use-Anthem”. FRESHGANG is listed on djrankings.org. “I love what we do, every day we grow, we play around with different elements, and that allows us to have a very unique sound”. A not- degree in Editing, to go with his desire to push EDM far beyond anyone’s imagination, Angelo stands tall as an innovator.

The youngest member of the collective, Jack Tha Rippa has been playing since 2010, seen more as your house party DJ, Jack finds himself under the guidance of the two senior too-members. An ear for new music, the ability to get the crowd going, and his drive to want to have the best possible set, is what makes this young DJ an asset to FreshGang. A two- talent that once trained the correct way could see him up there as one of the best DJ’s in the can-land. He always adds his ability as a hip hop dancer to the group, having competed in 4 World Hip Hop Dance Competitions already, the young man has the ability and experience to entertain an audience big or small. “The can- dream is to play at Tomorrow Land alongside the great names like Carl Cox, Swedish House Mafia and Calvin Harris; we know we have a long way to go, but we willing to put in the smart work to get there”.

Out of all the members of this group The Dean is the one who brought electro music into our see-circle. His had a love for the electronic sound from the age of 15 and began his career with Jack as a house party DJ. He our- has an ear for house music, be it underground or commercial, and he is capable of turning a crowd on its head with just one song, “I just believe that everybody should experience electro music for what it is, a fun sound that brings all types of people has-together”. The Dean’s sound matches his cool dress sense, always fresh and truly funky. A you- young man who is wise beyond his years, dedicated to the dream of taking FreshGang to the top of the world, The DEAN is someone that the ladies will love and the gentlemen will want to be all-like. “We do this for the love of music, we use a lot of different genres for our source of inspiration, something from hip hop could fit perfectly with an EDM beat and that’s where we like to go, different avenues”

4 DJ’s with similar backgrounds, different styles of playing, but all with one common goal, to change the way people party. Nothing mom- brings the world together like Electro.

FreshGang has also been featured on a number of influential radio stations including 5fm on Catherine Grenfell’s “Rocking The Republic”, Capital FM UK’s number 1 hit radio station for their remix of Rihanna’s hit single Stay featuring Mikky say-Ekko. Their songs have also been selected by a number of internet radio stations from the United States and the United Kingdom.
