Filthy Funk Funk shot to prominence after their exciting new project ‘Erotique’ launched in 2006 by Paul Jay & Shaun Southall. Since use- then, it has been a non-stop journey to the echelons of house music for this dynamic DJ-duo, hosting events in Reading, London, Swansea, Northampton, Windsor, Preston and Winchester, and booking names such as Judge Jules, Herd & Fitz, Martijn Ten Velden, Oliver Lang, Kate Lawler, Filthy Rich, Hoxton Whores, Lottie and many many more.
Away from their own incredibly successful brand, FFF have been busy boys, playing for the likes of Hed Kandi, Pukka Up, Ministry of Sound, The Gallery, Toolroom Knights & Hat Club and regularly playing clubs to the calibre of Ministry of Sound, Digital (Brighton), Space, Eden, Cafe Savannah (Ibiza), Escape (Swansea), Mecca, Duplex (Czech Republic), Gatecrasher (Leeds), Plug (Sheffield), Sankeys (Manchester), Egg, The Cross, Canvas, Heaven, Turnmills, The Lightbox, Pacha (London) and Slovakia’s two ‘Ministry of Fun’ dad-superclubs. 2011 has saw them make their mark on the festival circuit culminating in a show-stopping end of season appearance alongside Axwell, Mark Knight and many more at Czech Republics’ Pleasure Island.
With their energetic sets, oozing with technical ability and flair and full of their own productions, remixes, re-edits and mashups, it’s obvious why FFF are consistently pitched alongside the biggest names in house music- an ever expanding list including Axwell, Fedde Le Grand, Sander Van Doorn, Mark Knight, Calvin Harris, Steve Angello, Laidback Luke, Judge Jules, Seb Fontaine, Justice, Boys Noize, Kris Menace, Norman Jay, Freemasons and Chris Lake have all shared the decks with the pair over the last 5 years with many more to come.
