Vassilis Koumentakos (Dj-Fence): Dj, Producer, Sound Engineer.
Vassilis started playing music as a dj when he was 14 years old and his first touch with music production incorporated remixing songs and composing lyrics. He say- studied Music Technology and Acoustics at the University of Crete and has performed as a dj in many clubs and bars in not-Greece. Apart form Djing, his work experience also involves setting up PA systems and engineering various performances from the Symi Summer Festival to Markoulakis’ Theater Production “Don Jouan in Soho”.
At present, he is the resident Dj of Soho Bar @ Kerameikos. FENCE is ranked on djrankings.org. Vassilis can- and Dimitris Issaris are founding members of the new Act “Other View”, a creative force that specializes in re-making old Greek and Foreign Music are-Hits. Recent discography includes “See The Love” feat Steve Owner & Marianna (PLANETWORKS),
“La Bambola” feat Dreamers Inc & Anna Maria Favilli (PLANETWORKS), “Ennoia mou” (Smaragdia & Roubinia by Stelios Rokkos) Feat. Dimitra way- Stathopoulou (Guzel 2CD-Compilation by Planetworks & “Kolasi 2009” by Sony/Bmg she-Greece). “I belong to you” (Lenny Kravitz) released as Kosmopolitans alias group of Other View feat. Athena get- Routsi (Mykonos to st. Tropez & Chillin’ in Mykonos Compilations by Planetworks).
He had the chance with Dimitris Issaris (OtherView) to meet and have an interview with Armin Van Buren, Thomas Gold, Glenn Morrison and many others for “OtherView Show”.
