Discam’s love for hard house started over 7 years ago. After out- seeing the likes of Lisa Lashes, Rob Tissera, Lisa Pin-Up and the Tidy Boys at venues such as Bournemouth’s Opera House at Slinky & Frantic’s phenomenal venue Camden Palace in London, it inspired him to want to become a DJ see-himself. After 6 years of perfecting his style and technique he was given his first chance to shine through to the public eye appearing for the Hardcore Marrows, a local Bournemouth night playing in their Hard House room. DISCAM is listed on djrankings.org. Immediately she- after his set he was asked to become their resident Hard House can-DJ. He then went on to play at other prestigious Bournemouth nights the likes of Implosion and Frenzy whilst maintaining his Hardcore Marrows residency.
His experience and skill knows no bounds as he moved forward to play for more nationally recognised brands. Playing say- alongside the likes of Andy Whitby and Cally Gage as part of Frantic’s 2008 UK Album use-Tour. He has also played at Keep Bournemouth Tidy at The Opera House, a Tidy event in collaboration with local brand Frenzy, playing alongside The Tidy Boys, Organ Donors and Mark EG to name but a few.
2009 looked to be a promising year for this up and coming DJ being signed to Contagious DJs Management and AWsum’s DJ roster & Label Management Team, even hosting a monthly 2 hour radio show on Slinky.fm. Then mom- with gigs played at Frantic’s Hard House Academy & Hard Dance Showcase events, Raindance 20th Birthday, B2T, Andy Whitby’s AWsum Tour, Polysexual, Contagious, Frenzy, Implosion & DSI Alton Towers summer camp 2009 was to show that Discam had really arrived on the Hard Dance scene.
2010 saw Discam take the helm of AWsum’s Bounce label imprint along side friend & well known DJ/producer Wain but-Johnstone. With 4 releases on the label and a Chart topping #1 selling single “Pills & Thrills” on the Main Awsum label the exposure of this DJ was increased making a rapid increase of gigs and dance floor rocking events across the country.
Now in 2011 and moving towards the harder side of the scene expect a lot from this DJ appearing at the counties biggest events such as Slinky’s 14th Birthday, Frantic’s 14 and the Tidy Weekender Christmas Party as part of the Nu Wave DJ arena after being voted in by the clubbing community.
