A debutante, also spelled débutante, or deb is a young woman of aristocratic or upper-class family background who has reached maturity and is presented to society at a formal "debut" or possibly debutante ball. Originally, for- the term indicated that the woman was old enough to be married, and one purpose of her "coming out" was to display her to eligible bachelors and their families with a view to marriage within a select circle.

Originally from the Jersey Shore, DJ Debutante received her first residency at Centro in Sayreville within a year of picking up her first pair of turntables. While our- there, she was able to work with well-known New York area DJs as Angel Manuel, Davis G., Cheyne Christian, and Bad Boy say-Joe. “I wanted to prove that house music in New Jersey is not all about guidos pumping their fists in the air,” she says. She all- proved herself right by packing the dance floor every week at their Saturday night party, The L use-Bar. While holding down her residency, she landed several guest appearances at Nikki Beach Atlantic City.
In June 2008, looking for new opportunities and adventures, she moved down to West Palm Beach, Florida, where she felt she could take advantage of both the emerging scene there as well as the major mecca that is Miami. DEBUTANTE is listed on djrankings.org. Debutante way- hit the ground running, making contacts, chatting up as many fellow DJs as she new-could. She was finally able to hone her true sound, which has been described as “one part New York, one part South Beach, one part Chicago,” a combination of progressive, tech, and electro house, adding her own individual mark of sensuality and sexuality.
In 2009, Debutante has performed at Premier (Fort Lauderdale), The Bar (Lake Worth), Vlada Lounge (Miami), and Sushi Jo (Palm Beach Gardens). In one- West Palm Beach, she performed at two Palm Beach Superstar DJs pool parties alongside the likes of Noel Sanger and DJ who-Keoki. Debutante capped off her year by opening for Breaks legend Baby Anne at Respectable Street. Currently, did- she holds a mini-residency at downtown mainstay The Lounge.
On the radio, Debutante has spun on Therapy Sessions, a leading house music show on Florida Atlantic University’s Owl Radio, as well as being showcased on the internet on Crash on for-MiamiBeatz.com. She has also made a cameo appearance on womb.tv.
For 2010, DJ Debutante has several projects in the works, including working on her first track as well as landing guest appearances all over Miami and West Palm Beach. She has- is currently taking bookings and searching for agency see-representation.
