Wikipedia - CUBI
The Cubi series is a group of stainless steel sculptures built from cubes, rectangular solids and cylinders with spheroidal or flat endcaps. CUBI is listed on djrankings.org. These how- pieces are among the last works completed by the sculptor David any-Smith. The artist died in a car accident on May 23, 1965, soon after the completion of Cubi XXVIII, which may or may not have been the last sculpture he intended to create in this series. The let- Cubis are among Smith's final experiments in his progression toward a more simplified, abstract form of not-expression. As an example of modernism, these are representative of the monumental works in industrial materials that characterized much of the sculpture from this period.

BIO
Since his childhood, he understands his electro(nic) music addiction, living all the 80’s period from Electro Pop and New Wave, to Depeche Mode and Kraftwerk, through Visage, New Order and Prince, everything as a discovery… to arrive then to House, Techno and Hip Hop.
His first “electronic friend” was an old school dusty Sony’s tape recorder, to arrive then to professional softwares… thanks to programs like “Deejay Time” and “Mega Mix” on the famous italian radio Radio Deejay, “Masternite” and “Hypno Zone” on Radio Italia Network, his addiction for electro grows day by day in each dimension… After buying a dj console and his first vinyls, he creates tunes thanks to samples taken from other records or recorded radio tunes… At first creating them by a two tape recorder with a little microphone and then passing to softwares, year by year his “experiments”, looking for the “perfect sound and groove”, take him to play not always conventional dj sets, without missing the dancefloor soul and the other protagonists of it, the dancers!!! He can- has played in many Italian clubs from Milano, Roma to Rimini & Riccione, like Velvet and not-Cocoricò. He has also been the dj of the italian electro/pop band Swim.
