Hi does any one has a .tsi for the jog wheels to scratch its touch sen jogs i cant seem to mapped them.

It certainly is not mapping friendly controller for Traktor. If you can create a diagram with full MIDI assignments for all knobs and buttons I could try to translate Cntrl-7 mapping to your unit and post it here for testing.

You are right. I left those buttons unmapped so far, as well as "sampler play" buttons that you have also mentioned before. I wanted to leave some space in this mapping for further suggestions.

28.12.2012		Well, I downloaded all the information on Midi Mapping with Traktor In to my head like the Matrix. I can Now Say I have almost everything mapped out and working properly. I just don't know how to get the LED's to light up when certain buttons are pressed and my Vu Meter to work. Anyone shine some light on this?

27.12.2012		Alright I shall try my best, so I grab a high resolution picture and insert the codes in to each space. I'm not sure how I go about finding each code for each button though. I go into Controller manager and hit learn, that's as much as I know lol

27.12.2012		I'm currently using 2.5.0. I do have access to 2.6.0 and 2.1.2 though as well.
If you could help me, you will be my new bestfriend.
I just bought this controller and I absolutely hate VDJ lol

Unfortunately. It's not working since MIDI assignments aren't the same for Cntrl-2 and Cntrl-7. Which Traktor version do you use?

Doesn't seem to want to work and I can't find a mapping for it for the life of me!

Please help Minister of Mappings!! :]

Knob 3 button is basically toggling modifier and it works or it doesn't. No middle though. Maybe LED output isn't properly set so it's causing this issue. Does LED lite up correctly and does it happen on both sides?

Another thing that i noticed with this mapping is that the only shift button that seems to work is the one under the browser button. The ones under the search button on both decks are not working.
Also, when trying to work with the FX3 portion, the button works but not every single time. Sometimes i need to close traktor and open it again for this FX3 shifted button to work.

21.08.2012		If issue is present again then could be shift isn't working at all and Seek Position can't be activated because of incorrect midi note for this button.

21.08.2012		You're right i didn't notice the headphone cue buttons were already mapped, thanks!! they work perfectly. But i'm still getting problems when searching with the jog wheel on the right deck. I made a mistake when explaining in the last message.. The jog wheel that searches with no problems is the jog on the deck A, that will be the jog of the left deck. The jog on deck B is not working the same way as the other. On deck A i press the search button while spinning the jog and it searches with no problems, but when i try to do the same with deck's B jog it doesn't search. I also pressed the scratch button instead of the search button, tried without pressing any button as well but it doesn't work

21.08.2012		Those jogwheels are sending two different CC values, one when nudge (no press) and other when press and turn (scratching).

Nudge deck A = CC.018
Scratch deck A = CC.016

Point is. If you tried to search with shift+nudge (018) and I mapped it to shift+scratch (016) you couldn't be able to, right? I got both codes mapped in now so it should make no difference which part of jog is used for searching.

Headphone Cue is already mapped in mate. Check diagram with controls and you will notice headphone label under your load buttons. Just use "mixer shift" and press load buttons. Please tell me if it work properly since nobody confirmed it yet.

21.08.2012		Hey Stewe! Thanks a lot for the update. I just tested it and the search function on the right deck works perfectly, but not on the left deck. Left deck's jog is still not working when searching.
I also have an idea to map the buttons below the sync buttons, the ones that say "sampler play", it would be cool to map them for the headphone cue buttons

21.08.2012		There was issue with jog search, thanks for noticing it. Please report every bug that you find. Also ideas are welcome! There are few free buttons to be mapped and if there is a way to engage those 12 LED's on each side (sample on in VDJ) to map something cool there. As long if they work in midi ofc, but it couldn't surprise me if those LED's are controlled in VDJ in hid like some of buttons are. Is there any way to read this LED's code in midi?

21.08.2012		I had the same problem.. I did as Stewe said and also increased the buffer size for each device in the asio control panel and the sound is not muffled and messed up anymore.

I'm having a problem with the mapper and the jog wheels. The search function is not working, jog wheels are working for the pitch bend but not for searching. Anyone has experienced this problem? I'm using the map with traktor version 2.5, everything else is working. I did a test with version 2.2 and the jog wheels work properly but the FX section doesn't. With version 2.5 the jog wheels have problems when using search function, i keep the search button pressed while using the jog but it doesn't search.

Try fixing sound glitches by decreasing audio latency from audio device panel.

You guys need to select all wdm devices from asio control panel, i mean mark all three as active and then in the audio setup section of traktor select the asio4all as the device for both (audio device and built in soundcard). In the output routing you will now see the "control headphone" available under output monitor. Just select control headphone left and right for output monitor and for output master select the left and right speakers of your pc sound card. I hope this helps.

He Stewe thanks for your reply i have downloaded and installed the ASIO driver but still having the same problem. I tried with all three different WDM devices that appear in the ASIO4ALL control panel but it doesn't work right. If i select my laptop soundcard i just get sound from the speakers... if i select "control headphone" i just get sound from the headphones.... if i select "control main" i don't get any sound at all.... Do you know what should be the device i need to select in the ASIO control panel. Also, under the "audio setup" section in traktor what device should i choose for "audio device" and which one for "built in sound card" . Thanks

I'm having the same problem. I can't configure the audio so i get sound in cue. In the output routing when setting the output monitor i just have speakers left and right available to choose..
Also, what are the right settings in the audio setup.. In audio device i have three options to select:

1.High definition audio device (wasapi shared mode) which is my laptop soundcard
2.Control main (wasapi shared mode)
3.Control headphones (wasapi shared mode)

In the "built in sound card" i have the same three options available. I have tried all different combinations but i haven't been able to make it work.

Do you guys know what could be the problem?

10.08.2012		You pressed headphone cue buttons? If you do and still not getting any sound check preferences > "output routing" and set your left and right headphone channels in "output monitor" slots.

10.08.2012		ok things are working fine but there's no sound in cue. i plugged my headphones in it and increased the volume but there's no sound.

It's funny that another user told me that everything else works except of jogwhells and faders... I would be very grateful if you can come up with quick video that will demo this issues for me.

I watched review about EQ knobs aren't the best when it comes to full cut of frequencies so I added EQ kill feature to mixer section. Check Mixer "shift" button. While holding it, twist any EQ's knob and it should engage kill button for corresponding knob. After that, while you twist it again (no shift) EQ kill is off. Have you tested every bit of controls?

See diagram, everything labeled with "slash" is shift related.

Too bad that it can't be properly mapped all buttons as I mentioned in this thread, it could be nice double deck focus mapping with jog FX modes as much as sample LEDs. Speaking if I got one myself to start setup for that ctrl-7 ultimate mapping.

Thanks for reminder I know xhaze sent me controls for front panel also, I'll add it tomorrow and update. This mapping is still under construction and you can notice that three buttons are not mapped. How about some echo out? Can you tell how's drama acting with jog sensitivity? Was it too slow? Anything specified you would like to add?
