Maschine Mikro LED mapping issues - LED output and modifiers dont play well - HELP? Posted on: 07.01.2013 by Kandra Fagler hey guys, i am working on my own maschine mikro mapping at the momenti got all the basics such as modifiers etc done well the thing now is when i want to combine LED outputs and MODIFIERS what i want to do: I want to create a hotcue modifier where when i hold it down, all the pads become hotcue pads but i want LED feedbacks for the hot cue to be only lit when this shift/modifier is held down I had trouble doing this because when I tried to set led feedbacks with modifiers EG. midi output -> hotcue state -> M2 ->1 in this case, the LED should only be on (by theory) if the modifier is held right? however the LED is always on, regardless the modifier is held or not any way to make the LED only show when the modifier is pressed? im kinda stuck here haha any help appreciated! | |

Kellie Myrum 08.01.2013 | Enjoy |
Kandra Fagler 07.01.2013 | yep yep, got all done, everything works perfectly its just that im a bit of a neat freak and the led feedbacks were messing around i got most of the led feedbacks working in between layers, except for the play/pause that even though blend is checked, its still always on, probably need to check on this now thanks SIR!!! |
Kellie Myrum 07.01.2013 | Blend display signal only for higher value i believe. Did you dedicate correct modifier conditions for each state? If modifier toggles between 0 and 1 you need to add M=0 for transport and M=1 for hotcue output and it should work. |
Kandra Fagler 07.01.2013 | OOOOOH THE BLEND SEEMS TO BE WORKING!!!! thanks thanks thanks gonna play around more!! |
Kandra Fagler 07.01.2013 | hi thanks for the reply!! what does blend do? i never actually used it in my mapping what what i have now is: M1 - modifier 1 - SHIFT (add functions, for example without this PAD 1 becomes play/pause, held this one and the PAD 1 becomes KEYLOCK ON - thats an example) M2 - modifier 2 - HOTCUE SHIFT (when this is held, all the pads becomes hotcues 1-8 for each deck) i got all functionality perfectly, but the LED feedbacks dont play nice, eg, i want the LED feedback for "play pause" to stop when i hold M1/M2, i want the hotcues LED to only light when i held M2, does that make sense? sorry if its hard to understand haha i believe im also confusing myself here lol gonna try to play around with the blend and post my findings |
Kellie Myrum 07.01.2013 | Blend uncheck? Range 0-7? |
