Vaibone's Setup Posted on: 06.10.2013 by Shanda Jendrzejewski Hello it's almost my first post here , although i am member for a couple of years now.I recently bought a canon 5Dmkii so i took some test pics of my current setup , Gear List : Technics SL1200 Mkii Technics SL1210 Mkii 2x Shure M44-7 Sennheiser Hd25 1 II (not shown) Tascam Vlx-5 Monitors Vestax Pmc-15 Mkii Traktor Audio 6 + Clear Timecodes Akai Apc 40 (Traktor Custom Mapping) Keith Mcmillen Instruments Quneo (Traktor Custom Mapping) Esi Key Control 49 Macbook Pro 17'' 5.2 (Core duo 2.66 / 8Gb Ram / 750Gb Hdd-SSD Hybrid, Seagate) Snow Leopard 10.6.8 This is my current setup , i use Ableton Live for production and Traktor for Djing. Mostly in clubs/gigs i use my Macbook Pro with the Quneo and timecode vinyls, wherever are turntables available.I don't use the timecode cds because there is not really a point in using cdjs since i have the Quneo which i have mapped myself.The desk is custom built using OSB panel as the top and shelves underneath it. Built vinyl store style crates or shelves to store my vinyl collection (currently in my basement) underneath the booth) Maybe the turntables and mixer will be built in (i don't know the exact term in english) Buy an used Traktor F1 Update Macbook Pro to Mavericks os and buy an SSD (i've already got a base which replaces the superdrive) Customize and service the turntables ============================ Past Gear : (not shown here) Akai s1100 Behringer Bcd2000 American Audio TTD 2400 Akai Mpd 24 Traktor Audio 2 | |
