Miley Cyrus 'Devastated' After Losing Home to California Wildfires
23:38 Nov/19/2018

A "devastated" Miley Cyrus tweeted Sunday that she had lost her home to the raging California wildfires.
The singer tweeted that the house she shares with her fiance, the Australian actor Liam Hemsworth, and her pets "no longer stands," but that everyone including the animals were evacuated safely.
Completely devestated by the fires affecting my community, she shared with her 40.4 million followers. I am one of the lucky ones. My animals and LOVE OF MY LIFE made it out safely & thats all that matters right now. My house no longer stands but the memories shared with family & friends stand strong. I am grateful for all I have left. Thanking the emergency services and calling on her fans to help support the relief efforts, she added: Sending so much love and gratitude to the firefighters and LA country Sheriffs department! If you are interested in getting involved see next tweet . Donate $ , Time , Supplies I love you more than ever , Miley.
On Sunday, Young posted a statement regarding the destruction of his house on the Neil Young Archives site Wednesday. Firefighters have never seen anything like this in their lives, Young said. I have heard that said countless times in the past two days, and I have lost my home before to a California fire, now another.
Young also criticized President Donald Trumps tweets, in which he accused California of gross mismanagement of the forests and threatened to cut off federal payments. California is vulnerable not because of poor forest management as DT (our so-called president) would have us think, Young replied. We are vulnerable because of Climate Change; the extreme weather events and our extended drought is part of it.
