Spring Breakers: bikini babes and Skrillex - a definite hit at the box office
The movie's already debuted at the Venice Film Festival, the Toronto International Film Festival and the Oslo Internatiol Film Festival. Having gathered an impressive 7.1 on IMDB, this movie seems to have something to offer. Trailers usually give away the best parts in the movie. So if there are conclusions to be drawn from it, it's that the 7.1 rating reflects the amount of bikini boobs you'll see per frame. We're not going to disect the plot that's surely very complex and intruiging. Rather we'd like to turn your attention to the fact that the horror-flick is probably going viral in after it's going to make the debut in the wider circles. The reason, besides the persistant lack of clothing on the four main characters, to go see this movie is its soundtrack.
The brainchild of Sonny Moore is represented with 3 tracks on this one! No soft-ass Skrillex here. That's right, I don't agree with Gabi's article on the latest EP - 'Leaving' is not barking up my tree one bit. However, I'll tell you what I do appreciate: the tracks chosen for this soundtrack - Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites, With Your Friends (Long Drive) and the immaculate remix of 'Going Down' by fellow label mates Birdy Nam Nam.
Sonny recently worked on Disney's 'Wreck-it Ralph' animation, showing his not afraid to do whatever's in front of him. He just wants to showcase his brand of dubstep ..and, sure enough, make a lot of money doing it. No doubt some of his best productions will suit perfectly a movie about 4 college girls robbing restaurants and getting involved with drug dealers.
