Embark on a 'Skrillex Quest' by Jason Oda

00:00 Nov/30/1999

Jason Oda, a well-kown game designer for bands and brands has worked with Atreyu, Chemical Brothers, Fallout Boy and Breaking Benjamin. The most popular game he’s done is the ridicilously funny nostalgic adventure ’Perfect Strangers: Nothing’s gonna Stop Me Now’.

This time, Oda has put his efforts into making ’Skrillex Quest’ – a 3D action RPG similar to the Nintendo’s 1986 dungeon quest ’Legend of Zelda’. Nostalgia is something aimed at the dubstep wunderkind’s branded game as well. Oda explains in a Facebook post: "Remember blowing the dust out of your NES cartridges when they glitched? This game is all about that from the perspective of the people within the game." The flash game’s hack-and-slash action against cubes is simple, yet captivating. Try to fight your way out of the dusty NES cartridge right here, from your browser.
