A week ago, we introduced the (RED) campaign involving the Dutch trance superstar Tiesto (find it here). We talked about Tiesto primarily helping raise awareness by recruiting top DJs and producers for a compilation album. Well, there's big news regarding the campaign and Stereosonic 2012!

It has been announced that on November 27, Tiesto will release the compilation 'Dance (RED), Save Lives' featuring his recent collaboration with Bono on a remake of Pride by U2. Can you imagine, Bono and Tiesto? Other Stereosonic acts will be accompanying the collaboration. Among these we find the best of the best DJ's Calvin Harris, Avicii, Diplo, Tommy Trash, JFK MSTRKRFT, Martin Solveig, Laidback Luke, Afrojack, Bingo Players, Hardwell and Dada Life.

Another big announcement is about the Stereosonic festival. Namely, the Melbourne leg of the festival will be live-streamed via Youtube. The Melbourne festival is going to be taking place exactly on the World AIDS Day, on the first of December. So if you can't be there because of distance, lack of tickets or whatever reasons, you have a chance to experience the show happening live nevertheless.
