Insomniac festival explains "Loyalty program" upset

This week Insomniac released 'loyalty' tickets to EDC 2014 for concert-goers who have attended previous EDCs. The move was intended as a goodwill gesture towards annual visitors of the 3-day festival. Instead, it made things a lot more confusing, causing Pasquale Rotella, CEO of event organizers Insomniac to take to Facebook for explanations.






The post explains that despite what many fans thought, this was never a discount program, and that once the lower-tier price level tickets sold out, the remainder were made available at the standard $345 price level. Pasquale went on to explain that more tickets at this price level will be made available when tickets go on sale to the general public on December 2.

Read his full message over at EDC’s Facebook page, and if you want tickets for next year’s EDC, best be ready on December 2, when tickets go on sale to the general public. Despite the negative feedback of the loyalty program, the tickets are gonna sell fast..
