Eric Prydz epic show recap + new remix

00:00 Nov/30/1999

The Swedish progressive house producer and DJ Eric Prydz had an amazing 2012. One of the higlights was the highly appreciated remix of M83's 'Midnight City'. The track got nominated for the Best Remixed Recording of the year at Grammy Awards. It also found its way to Mark Knight's top 10 of 2012 chart. Of course, a remix - even if it is nominated for a Grammy - doesn't sum up a year for a top calibre DJ like Prydz. A packed schedule throughout the year, 'Eric Prydz presents Pryda' album release, the single 'Every Day' and a new Epic Radio show (listen to the latest edition here) - that's a bit more insightful why the Swede is considered #46 in The Official Global DJ Rankings. Right now, we have a freshly published recap of one of the best gigs Prydz had in 2012, to show how much love the DJ is able to generate! ..oh yeah, one more thing, he's got a new remix out on his Pryda imprint!

Roseland Ballroom, one of the premium venues in NYC, got sold out two nights in a row. Why? Because Eric Prydz was coming to town. Relive the show, with the soundtrack of his last single release in 2012 'Every Day'. Energy and good vibes everywhere!

Well, it's going to be hard to beat the last year's, currently Grammy nominated, remix of 'Midnight City'. Nevertheless, the re-work of Jeremy Olander's 'Let Me Feel' is a nice introduction to 2013. A bit grimmy compared to the original, but I'll let  you be the judge of that.
